Benny Aker

Benny C. Aker

Adjunct Professor

B.A., Central Bible College
M.A.R., Concordia Seminary
Ph.D., Saint Louis University

A Bible college and seminary professor, Dr. Aker has also served as an administrator and pastor. He has editorial experience as general editor and editorial consultant for Hendrickson Publishers and book review editor for Paraclete. Dr. Aker has authored various articles and essays, included in Paraclete, Assemblies of God Educator, The Complete Biblical Library, The Quest Study Bible, Systematic Theology, Pentecostal Evangel, Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, and Faces of Renewal. He also served as editor for Signs and Wonders in Ministry Today. He is a member of the Institute of Biblical Research, the Society for Pentecostal Studies, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the Evangelical Theological Society. Currently, he serves in the Evangelical Theological Society Study Group concerning “Charismatic Themes in Luke-Acts.”
